SOHMER

SOHMER Piano Company, established in 1872 in the U.S.A.,
has a close connection with STEINWAY&SONS.
The founder Mr. Hugo Sohmer is a German immigrant,
and his partner Mr. Joseph Kuder has experience as a factory manager
in the STEINWAY&SONS.
Influenced by these 2 craftsmen, the manufacturing process of SOHMER pianos
is said to be similar to that of STEINWAY&SONS.
Mr. Hugo Sohmer invented the baby grand and took its patent,
but actually SOHMER Piano Company is also very famous for its console piano.
The model 34 is based on a concept which distribution of scales and piano wires
are close to those of grand pianos. As the result, SOHMER's console pianos
are called as "The Musicians' Console."
We do have SOHMER's console piano Model 34 in our stock right now.
